Cranberry Raspberry Punch
This was a huge hit at my sister's wedding brunch, even without alcohol (although champagne or vodka could easily be added). A great recipe from Taste of Home that couldn't be easier. -- posted by KissKiss
Seafood-Stuffed Mirliton/Chayote
A fairly simple and very authentic Creole recipe from New Orleans that I ate at the late, great Ugelsich's restaurant. (They prepared it with eggplant rather than chayote -- they're equally delicious.) Use crab meat or shrimp or a mixture of both. Two chayote halves are a good light entree, or one half is right for a side dish. -- posted by fluffernutter
Bread Pudding...lower Cal/Fat
Being Southern I LOVE bread pudding. Since joining Weight Watchers over 2 years ago, I have learned recipes can be altered and still taste fabulous. I take this recipe to EVERY family gathering and NO ONE can tell the difference. If you do not have french bread...use ANY bread. I love to take left over hot dog buns and throw them in the freezer. When I have enough, I pull them out to make this recipe. -- posted by WW Girl
Baked Chicken With Ginger Marinade
This is a refreshing marinade to bake chicken in. Easy and lasts longer in the refridgerator because of the citrus mix so DON'T OVERCOOK IT in the oven. -- posted by LOGMAN
Stuffed Quail With Crawfish Dressing
This recipe is very close to the dish served at Massa’s Restaurant in Houston. I like mine a little spicy and sprinkle them liberally with Tony Chachere’s Creole Seasoning. -- posted by Witch Doctor
Mom's Best Potato Salad
This is a basic Alabamian potato salad that has tested the time for many important holidays. Easy and tastes awesome, especially on the 2nd day when all the flavors mix. Can be served cold or hot (first day). -- posted by LOGMAN
Pineapple Coconut Cheesecake
This cheesecake is sure to please! It has a luscious blend of pineapple, coconut and ginger! Adapted from Source magazine put out by Sam's Club. Note: this recipe has been updated and tweeked a little more! -- posted by Sharon123
Coffee-Glazed Ham
Coffee is a great way to enhance a host of savory dishes. I have yet to try this, but am eager to do so. From Good Food Magazine, January 1988. -- posted by JackieOhNo!
Barbecue Pot Pie With Cheese Grits Crust
From Southern Living - sounds so incredibly southern I just had to post and will no doubt actually make :) -- posted by SweetJezebel

Country Fried Meatloaf Sandwich
I had some leftover meatloaf and I wanted a sandwich. But not an ordinary meatloaf sandwich,so I just "kicked it up a notch"The taste you will get depends on what type of meatloaf you use.But that's half the fun in making this particular recipe.:) I used Recipe#163668.For the slices, cut meatloaf into 1/4 to 1/3 inch pieces. You can either make a sandwich or serve with mashed potatoes and a green veggie. If make a sandwich, please don't forget the mayo ;) Submitted to "ZAAR" on April 9th,2007 -- posted by shapeweaver
Quick Creamy Cajun Chicken
My boyfriend offered to make dinner for me last night and this is his answer to my request for "something spicy." -- posted by PandorasKitchen
Decadent French Toast
This is the best french toast I have ever eaten. You make it at night before going to bed, the next morning; pop it in the oven. -- posted by Chef dl5crew
Golden Northern Cornbread With Bacon
This cornbread is moist and light, with the rich taste of corn. Use stone-ground cornmeal if possible.for the best taste and texture. Either yellow or white cornmeal bakes into a handsome, delicious cornbread. The servings will differ, according to how large you cut the servings. I like to add about 2 large green onions chopped up in my batter sometimes. -- posted by FLUFFSTER
Florida Grapefruit Spritzer
A delightful icy drink that will please the senses. I grew up in south Florida with no air conditioning. Enough said about that! Love this stuff! -- posted by Sharon123
